Sunam Sarkar, in his role as President & Chief Business Officer, at Apollo Tyres leads the Strategic Planning function of the company, which includes the growth strategy, mergers & acquisitions and alliances. In addition, he also oversees Integrated Supply Chain including Raw Material sourcing, Production Planning & Logistics Operations, InformationTechnology, Greater China Operations and Corporate Social Responsibility. Sunam, who is best known for his innovative perspectives and participatory management style, in his previous role as the CFO, had been instrumental in greatly strengthening the company’s balance sheet. Sunam also is a Director on the Board of the company.
